YAY! Another Day Trip!

THis weekend Me and Papi and Senor Pinky and Senorita Gigi went to Hudson. We went to a place called a Flea Market!... I know I was worried too! I didn't want to get any fleas! YUCK! But a Flea Market is not a place you get Fleas... it's a place humand (and a lot of dogs) go to but old stuff! We had a great time! and Evenybody bought some neato stuff!

Me and Papi and Senor Pinky and Senor Coling took a day trip to the Eastern Townships today to sight-see and go apple picking. It was a lot of fun... mostly becauce everywhere we went people went crazy for me... I guess they've never see this level of cute before!

You can't really tell in this picture, but we're standing in the middle of a HURRICANE!

It was a little bit scary but I was with Papi and Pinky and they said they wouldn't let anything bad happen.

At one point we even went out and walked down to the bridge. You can't teall but it was SUPER WINDY and the rain was comeing down sideways! It was totally cool!

I think next year I'm going to sign up for the X Games!

Today we all drove from Nanny and Grandpapi's house over to their cottage on this HUGE island called Prince Edward Island. People say it's a really small island, but when you're my size... it's HUGE!

This is how I like to travel...

After a while driving we got on a big boat and took a rest while we sailed over to the island.

It was kinda cold and wet and raining when we arrived, so we stayed in and I made myself at home...

We took a walk today in a really big park in Halifax.

There were lots and lots of dogs there, It was a little scary at times cause in some places the dogs were not on the leash and one great big poodle ran up and almost stepped on me. Thankfully Papi picked me up in time.... or I woulda gone all kinds of Mexican on his ass!

One day, Papi, Pinky and me drove across Nova Scotia to visit a friend of Papi's in a place called Kentville. She lives where with her husband and two girls and two pussy cays in a neato old country house. While we were there Hannah read us a story called Skippyjon Jones. It's the story about a cat that thinks he is a Chihuahua!

After the story we walked around outside for a bit and I let Hannah and Katie take turns walking me...

It was a super fun day and I met new friends....

From Wed June 30th - Sat July 3rd I had company again! YAY! CHACHI AND FLEA!

Their parents were going out of town for a few days and so YAY they came to stay at our place!!!

As always we had a fantastic time. Papi of course took hundreds of pictures (hehe) but I'll only show a couple here...

Yesterday was MY day and today is Papi's Well ALL Papis... so HAPPY PAPI'S DAY to all my papis! and all the papis everywhere!

We had another fun day... we went for a walk and then when we got back I gave some gifts to Papi and Senor Pinky.

Papi said I give the bestest gifts...

You know I'm a pretty lucky little guy. A year and a half ago I was living in a cage , and now I live in a great home and Get food whenever I am hungry, have lots of soft warm places to sleep including my favourite... on Papi's bed! have toys and treats and lots of fun clothes. It's a great life i have and it's cause I got me the greatest Papi in the world!

HEHEHE Guess what? Today I am three!

It was a really exciting day, even if I had a little accident with Papi. He was clipping my nails and he made a booboo and hit the quick on one of mt claws. It didn't really hurt but it bled ... a lot... but that's what happens. I was okay but Papi was very upset. So I let him hug me and hold me and cuddle me close. It was not a bad thing to get all day long, especially on my birthday. I know he was sorry and I know he loves me a lot!

Papi gave me a lot of neat-o gifts (as usual hehe) I got a new t-shirt in yellow and green, I got some real funky food bowls and another Duckie! SEE!

(This makes my 3rd duckies, but I don't mind cause what in the world is better than a duckie? NOTHING! heheeh. And Senor Pinky got me a real fun bandanna. I feel (and look) like a pirate! ARRRRG!

There I am eating my special Birthday Dinner. And after dinner Papi made me a sweet potato cake and sang to me.

All in all it was a fun day! And tomorrow is gonna be a fun day too!

Two weeks after my Dental Surgery and Papi said it was time I could start to play with my toys again. It's been a REALLY tough two weeks cause everyone knows that I'm the Fetch King!

My first one ever actually!

I went with Papi, Senor Pinky and Aunt Gigi. We went to Magog.

I've been in cars before but it's never been for fun. It's always been to go to the Vets or the Vets or the Vets... but this was FUN!

I admit I fell asleep after a little while but that's ok cause I was sleeping next to Papi.

We visited Pinky and Gigi's Mom and Papi had me outside for a little walk I met a new friend named Paco. He reminds me a lot of Chachi. heh

We went for a nice long drive in the country, we had lunch on a terrasse and we had a slumber party in Nana Sally's living room! It was fun! And what was real cool was Paco's Mommy made him a fur coat, but it doesn't fit him any more so she gave it to me... I can't wait for next winter! hehehe

Can't wait for my next Road trip... maybe to Pinky's cottage. HINT HINT Pinky! ;-)

Well, GREAT NEWS! all the money was raised, as of today because of super people like you, and my Papi and Me and an AMAZING LADY in British Colombia caned Erin Bessette.

I'm so very happy for Casey.

I hope to get to meet her after she recovers from her surgery...

Well it's done.

It's over. Papi dropped me off this morning at the vet's. Then I fell asleep. Then I woke up later with more room in my mouth...

Papi and Pinky picked me up and brought me back home.

I'm kinda woozy and my mouth is a lot sore (but I have some good pills to help with that) and I want to get to bed.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent me kind words, prayed for me and sent me such wonderful positive energy.

Papi and auntie Nat took me to ANOTHER VET tonight. They shaved my belly put cold gel on it and rubbed a little pad on it. They were looking inside me! RIGHT IN SIDE ME!

I guess it's okay cause when we got home I got fed, got some snacks and got some really nice belly rubs!

Papi said I'll probably be more needles for something they call blood tests, but as long as I can be with Papi I don't care!

Well They didn't really do anything with me yesterday... I still have all my teeth and now I gotta go to some other weird hospitally place next week. At lease I get to see Auntie Nat...

Papi is acting weird. Hugging me way lots more than before, and he already hugs me LOTS! And he keeps telling me how much he loves me. I just lick his hand or nose and cuddle close and he seems happier.

Papi took me to the Doctor on Saturday. I'm good except for my teefs. The Doctor says I gotta have some removed and I am little upset and scared. Senor Pinky and Papi are doing a lot to make me feel ok and not be scared but what do they know? They have all their teeth!

And Aunti Nat says I'll be okay too, but I dunno...

Ok, well it wasn't that warm out today, BUT Papi had me wear my Hoodie Sweater so it was ok. Me and Papi and Pinky walked all the way to Chipotle & Jalapeno... a great Mexican shop on Amherst street... when we were there Papi was talking to a nice man from the Motherland... Chihuahua!!! That was fun!

It was a nice day. A perfect end to a great weekend. Fun with Friends and Family and a little exercise!

Papi has not been feeling well for the past few days. Luckily for him he has Nurse Pinky to help him do errands and pick up things he needs. AND hug him and make him laugh... AND he has me to cuddle with and snuggle with at night when he especially is not feeling good at all.

As much as I'm happy that he has been home this week and I'd have loved nothing more to play fetch non-stop (because I can do that ya know!), I know that Papi needs to rest, and so I will rest with him...

La Vie en Rose at Pinkys

Because I've been SUCH a good boy (Papi and Senor Pinky BOTH say so!), Senor Pinky invited Papi AND me to have a sleep over at his place!!! Me and Papi walked over in the snow yesterday. I was so excited when we got there! I knew we'd have a lot of fun.

It's funny. Me and Pinky were both wearing Polos and so we took a whole buncha pics of the two of us. That was lots of fun.

Later on, when Papi and Senor Pinky were eating supper I just amused myself and looked around,

played with my toys and chewed on a bone too...

Later Senor Pinky was trying to be all tough and gangsta....

Personally I wasn't buying it...

After a bit more play, and Papi falling asleep on the sofa... HE says he is resting his eyes, but me and Senor Pinky know better... So it was time for bed...

The next morning we has some breakfast then Papi and Pinky watched SpongeBob so I went Sunbathing...

I tried playing with my Chill Pill...

but the sun caught me ans I fell asleep...

After the nap We packed up and then returned home... but that was ok cause Senor Pinky came with us... for a little visit, and in the evening he sent me a picture that he edited especially for me...

I like it. And every time I look at it I think of our fun sleep over.

Papi took me with him to visit Pinky tonight. WHAT FUN! I've never gone out for a visit like this before!

It was cold out so Papi dressed me warm...

Papi carried me in my tote and I looked around at all the snow on the grown and was very happy to be in my coat AND wrapped up in a blanket!

When we arrived I was told to make myself at home and so I had lots of fun looking around Pinky's place.

Senor Pinky made me feel at home and gave me a nice rub.

Papi and I did a little Sofa Surfing (Hey! It's what we do!)

But time goes by soooo fast and then we had to go.

Papi AND Senor Pinky both said that I could come back again.

I had a LOT of fun over the holidays... got to meet a lot of new people including my GrandPapi and Nanna Ellis, and Pinky's Mom and Sister and other friends of Papi's but the good, lazy, fun days have come to an end for now...

But I happen to know, cause I heard Papi talking about it... that we're gonna go visit GrandPapi and Nanna this summer and also maybe go visit Pinky's Mom in the country... AND Chachi and Flea will be back again too...

So it's a little sad to say good-bye, but it's great to look forward to and see everyone again!

Chistmas with Family is very much fun, and it's non stop visiting! So much fun!

You cannot imagine just how amazing a year I've had. Especially when you see that it was all in a loving home with Papi S.

It was just one year ago that I was rescued from a nasty Pully Mill and then first Fostered and then Adopted... by two Papis. Now though and for many months I am with only Papi s. It's sad, but like Papi says, "Everything for a reason. We have each other and that's enough"

Yesterday was amazing. Papi had a party for me. He let me play fetch ALL DAY LONG! and took advantage of that from 8:20 am til 11:00 pm! SI!

Senor Pinky came over and we had a big meal and I got LOTS of presents!!! It was like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one. SO MANY YUMMY SNACKS! a couple new squeaky toys... a Piggie and a little blue bear. Senor Pinky gave me the NICEST sweater yet! even if it seems I don't like it, I really do! And Papi also got me my First movie! Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Sure I've seen it before, but now I can watch it again and again...

It was a great day! Today was MY DogDay!

I had some extra special company lastnight, into today. My bestest friends in the whole wide world Chachi and Flea came over for a SLUMBER PART!... Doggie Style… and even better still Señor Pinky came too!

We had SO MUCH FUN! Especially running up and down the hall and just chillin’ on the big blue sofa with Papi and Señor Pinky… Sleepin’ and playin’ and watching funny Christmas movies… and eatin’ and sleepin’…

This was all in prep for this Christmas. It’s gonna be AMAZING! Chachi and Flea are gonna stay with us for Christmas cause their parents will be away in Timmins… and cooler still is I will be meeting my Grand Parents for the first time! Can’t wait for Christmas!

Papi is off to a big charity fund raiser tonight and ALL their proceeds go to help the fight against Puppy Mills here in Québec. He's gonna see Nanna Nat and Uncle Scott and Grand Nanna Donna and also a friend of his from back in Halifax... Lucy Decoutere who's an actress on TV and the movies! (Papi knows all the cool people!)

I hope they raise a lot of money to shut down those evil places!

Papi and I read the story and cried a little... it's sad but happy too. I hope they all find as great a home as I have.

Sorry for the lack of posts, but well I've been trying to be good and help Papi S as much as I can with our move and the set up of our new Casa.

Papi S was really good to me and had fire special paintings made of me... they are called portraits... and there's now one in every room of our new home... all at Doggie Eye Level so that I can see them and when I have company they can see them as well!

Footballs and Wolves and Squirrels... OH MY!

Yesterday Papi S. took me out for a loooooong walk. We went way way way up the street to Pack Lafontaine! It's HUGE! I mean REALY REALLY HUGE!

We walked around a bit, and even past a Doggie Park, but it was full of big dumb looking dogs and I really could not have bothered. All cave Dogs if you ask me... digging in dirt and chewing on dear tree limbs... barbaric!

So we went over to a nice shady spot and sat down to watch some guys play this thing called 'football' It's funny cause it seems a lot like the way I play 'fetch' with the Papis... You throw a thing... Papi said it was a ball... but he doesn't know ... balls are round! The someone else catches and runs with it and then is chased by someone else trying to get it back to throw again... heh! That is sooo what I do! I run with my toy and make them come and get it from me! hehehe

Papi said I'm kind of related to the humans playing the game because they are called Les Loups, which is french for The Wolves... and well dogs are related to wolves... So I guess it makes sense they like to play like I do!

And every once in a while these weird fluffy things Papi calls Squirrels would come over to visit us, but every time I went to say hello, they would run away. Squirrels are just stupid I think!

We kept watching the game, til it was over then we went to say hello to the Wolves. Papi S knows one of them and met some more... but they were all just looking at me, trying to pet me and stuff... Funny, you wouldn't think a pack of wolves would be so nice.

It was a real fun day at the park and I hope we can go again real soon... I even promise to let Papi take better pictures of me.

Sorry I have not blogged much lately, but stuff has been going on at the house that makes me sad. My Papis are going to not be living together soon any more, and that gives me a big sad. Papi S told me that it's not easy, but that sometimes Papis move apart because even though they still like each other, it's not enough. I'm not sure what that realy means because I love them both so very much I don't know why it's different... but Papi S says this is for the better of us all and so I will believe him.

Papi S has been working very hard lately on our new place. He says I will love it... I am sure I will, I just hope all of my friends know to visit me and Papi S there and continue to visit Papi D too. And maybe some times Papi D might take care of me if Papi S has to go away. That would be nice. Sure would!

So I am still here, just a little sad is all...

Papi S and Papi D are going away for a long weekend so I will be staying with Nanna N@, Uncle Scott and my besties Chachi and Flea!

Sure I’ll miss my Papis and Cousin Sacha… but to be honest I’ll be having so much fun with everybody that before I know it Monday will be here and I’ll be back in their arms…

Santi's Big Adventure!

Day's don't get much bigger than this!

We woke up today and cleaned up after Papi D's party last night. Then we went for a walk in the neighbourhood. Then we had brunch on the Terrasse at Food (the Papis like to eat there alot!) And then after that another walk in the neighbourhood!

That would have been enough for a great day but that was just the start!

THEN we took a ride on the Metro. This was VERY exciting. My first ride in a subway... EVER! Wow! So many people. So many sounds! I was a little scared at first but Papi S held me tight and I was fine!

Once we got out I though, that's got to be it, for sure; but no... THEN we got on a bus! MY FIRST BUS RIDE EVER! Crazy huh? So many new things! I don't think I liked the bus as much tho, cause there were more people, it moved slow, it was hot and there were some really smelly people on the bus! I know my Papi's were kinda grossed out, but the have NOOOOOOOO idea... their sense of smell is so weak... trust me that one guy in the dragon shirt... yeesh! I don't even want to know...

When we finally got off the bus, I didn't have any idea where I was... I've never seen so much green in all my life! Grass. Bushes. Trees! So many trees to sniff... so little time!

We were up on the mountain in the middle of Montréal, called Mount Royal (I don't think that's a coincidence...) and there, we walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked! There were a lot of other doggies... but Papi D said I was the cutest (and Papi S agreed!)

OH! and I almost forgot... and the whole time my human cousin from France, Sacha was with us. Actually he's been here since Tuesday. He came all the way from France to visit us for a few weeks! He's really really nice and I love him but I can't help be a little shy and nervous some times because he's SOOOO tall! Taller than even Papi S. !!!

After all the walking we got to a huge look-out over the city, so we took a few pictures...

After Papi D and Sacha had an ice cream, we walked down the mountain... but there were just too many stairs so Papi S carried me. It was good to because my dogs were barking! heh heh.

Once we got off the mountain we walked some more but I was too tired so again Papi S came to my rescue and he carried me for about 15 minutes. But after a little bit I felt better and walked the rest of the way home from Pine Avenue... that's a LONG WAY for a Chihuahua.

I don't think I've ever walked as much in my life as we did today!

Now I'm just gonna have a little nap with Papi S on the big red sofa cause we deserve it!

I'm a big kid now!

Today was my Birthday. My second one actually, but the very first that was ever to be celebrated.

Papi S. and Papi D, had a special night for me. They got me a funny card and a LOT of presents! GOLLY! I got 4 new shirts! A nice blue polo and 3 t-shirts (I'm wearing one in the picture). I got two new toys: a ball and a 'chill-pill' that we can play fetch with. i LOVE FETCH! I don't think I can ever play it enough.

They also got me some YUMMY snacks that I will share with my Doggy friends and Family when they come for visits. Very special FANCY decorated cookies. And I also got a box of the yummiest little bones. My Papis say they are made from something called sweet potatoes, I don't know what they are but the bones... Oh! My! Dog! Muy delicioso! MUY MUY DELICIOSO!

After we played a bit and had a yummy meal, my Papis played some backgammon and I tried REALLY hard not to walk all over the board (this time) and then we all watched a movie together on the big red sofa.

I was a GREAT DAY! I love my Papi's very much!

All choked up...

A very scary thing happened last night to today. My best friend Chachi got into a little trouble with a denta-bone. He takes big bites and swallows too fast and a piece got caught in his throat. He was at the vet last night and again today because it would not come out and would not go down.

After hours and hours they finally got it to go down so he could eat it up in his little belly. Which is very good because if that didn't happen they would have had to operate on him and that is scary stuff!

He's still there tonight because he didn't eat or drink in over a day and was dehydrated. But he'll be home tomorrow, and that makes me happy!

I miss you my friend, I hope we can play again soon. I'm very glad you are ok.
